KYC data handling is regulated by the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC). The Kabiru digital credits framework is presented to the regulatory Sandbox for Kenya Digital Asset Regulations under the Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASP) Act 2025.
Kabiru operates strictly as a closed-loop community value credits system at 1:1 parity — not a stablecoin, meme coin, or airdrop scheme.
